We're edging into summer in Brisbane, but the last few days have been a relief from relentless heat - a mess of battered rain and roaring thunder. It's making me think of cooler seasons, the sweet ones where you curl in bed for days beneath blankets and beside books (which is horribly romantic and not entirely realistic, but the thought's a nice one). Of course, most of the world is the opposite. Cozying into winter in warm coats and knit scarves.
